1. Is this some kind of a scam?
We've been getting that question a lot lately, so this is #1 on the FAQ.
The best way I can say this is: Taking somebody's ISK and just running off with it is far less effective than actually using it the way we say we do. It takes ISK to make ISK.
On top of that, scamming can only last so long before people figure you out. We are in this for the long term. Most of the members of our main corp have been playing EVE Online for three years and up. We are not interested in get-rich-quick schemes... SO - The answer is NO, this is not a scam.
2. I still don't trust you. Why should I?
Well... EVE Online is full of mistrust. The game is pretty much built that way.
Spamming the D-SCAN button. Why? Because you don't trust who might be sneaking up on you.
1 vs 1 PVP duels. It seems someone always has buddies waiting to screw the other guy into a 1 vs 10.
Gate camps. You're always ready for what might be on the other side, because you don't trust.
Contracts. They are a great tool, but easily and frequently abused for scamming. Many people avoid contracts all together because they don't trust them - even though the contract may really be legit.
There are many more examples, but... Trust us, or don't. That's your choice. However, the very fact you are reading this right now means you probably have BILLIONS of ISK sitting around, and you don't know what to do with it.
That means, to gain trust you can start off with the small investment amount of 100 million. Multi-billionares can certainly afford to risk that. You probably fly around every day risking hundreds of millions of ISK tied up in that fancy ship of yours.
So, after you start receiving exactly what we say, and your concerns are eased, then feel free to increase your investment at any time.
ISK just sitting around is wasted ISK. Let us earn your trust and grow your money!
3. Why do I only get 8 million a month, when I gave you 100 million?
We get this question a lot, too, which surprises us. Maybe people don't understand how investments work. 8 million each month *IS* an 8% return on 100 million.
200 million gets 16 million per month.
300 million gets 24 million per month.
400 million gets 32 million per month.
500 million gets 40 million per month.
1 Billion gets 80 million per month.
And so on...
Don't forget - You always get your investment dollars back if you decide to cash out. These are not GIVEN to us, they are INVESTED with us. It's always YOUR money.
4. Why is the minimum 100 million ISK? Can I start with less?
We have decided that we want to keep accounting simple. We do not want to screw up people's monthly payouts because of oddball investment amounts.
Besides, as stated in #2 above - the fact that you are reading this right now means you probably have BILLIONS of ISK sitting around. 100 million is nothing to you... We're sure YOU don't want to make things more difficult, either.
